Advertising disclosure
Ads are part of how the free tier of TechUtilityTools stays free. We hold ourselves to strict rules about when, where, and how ads appear — because nothing kills trust faster than an ad mid-diagnosis.
Where ads appear
- Below educational content (resources, guides, glossary entries).
- End-of-content slots on long-form guides.
- Selected non-diagnostic pages.
Where ads never appear
- Inside any active diagnostic workflow (live tests, monitor dashboards).
- Inside dashboard pages, billing, or account screens.
- Between you and a test result.
- On any page where signed-in Pro or Business users land — paid users are ad-free everywhere.
Active diagnostic pages are wrapped in a "no-ad zone" component that suppresses every ad and affiliate placement programmatically.
Ad provider
Display ads on TechUtilityTools are served by Google AdSense. We do not display ads from networks that are known to serve malicious creative or invasive trackers. AdSense's cookie behavior is covered in our cookie policy.
Editorial independence
No advertiser has input into our editorial content, methodology, or product roadmap. Educational resources are not sponsored. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be clearly labeled "Sponsored" at the top of the page.
Free and ad-supported
All of our tools and educational resources are completely free to use. Ads and affiliate placements help fund the site and keep every diagnostic tool open to everyone, with no accounts or subscriptions required.

If an ad looks malicious, misleading, or out of place, please report it to editorial@techutilitytools.com. We take complaints seriously and remove offending creatives.
