Why does DNS speed matter?
Every page load starts with one or more DNS lookups. A 50ms-faster resolver compounds across every site, app, and API your device touches.
How is this measured?
We send DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) queries for five popular domains to each resolver and measure full round-trip time from your browser.
Should I switch resolvers?
If a resolver is consistently 30-50ms faster than your current one, switching at the OS or router level can noticeably speed up browsing.
Is this private?
Queries go directly from your browser to each resolver over HTTPS. We never see them.
