Security & Privacy Practices
TechUtilityTools follows reasonable, modern security and privacy practices appropriate for a browser-based technical utilities platform.
Browser-first by design
Most diagnostics execute in the user's browser. Data needed only for the diagnostic stays in the browser session and is not transmitted to our servers unless explicitly required for a feature.
Transport security
All traffic between the user and TechUtilityTools is served over TLS. Third-party APIs we call are accessed over HTTPS where the provider supports it.
Minimization
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the platform. Optional account features only store data the user explicitly creates.
Access controls
Administrative access is limited to authorized personnel. Production credentials are rotated on a defined schedule and on personnel changes.
Incidents
Suspected security issues can be reported via the contact page. We acknowledge reports and investigate promptly.
